Beachfront venue tops the list of the Top 100 Bars worldwide. DUBAI, May 12, 2008: It’s official. Barasti Bar at Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina is the Best Bar in the World. The vibrant beach venue, renowned for its great music and delectable menu, topped the list of worldwide watering holes in the World’s Best Bars worldsbestbars.com Top 100 Bars.

The Top 100 Bars list is compiled from guest feedback, and Barasti regulars and holidaymakers all voted the beach-themed outlet as number one.

“Barasti has always been number one with its most regular patrons, but to receive international recognition is fantastic,” said Shaun Parsons, Executive Assistant Manager, Food & Beverage, Mina Seyahi Complex.

“Barasti Bar is the social hub of Dubai and is a venue that is always full of excitement. The team here works hard to keep the product fresh and innovative, while maintaining great service levels, and I think that has been the main factor in Barasti being voted the best bar in the world,” Parsons added.

The cream of the world’s drinking establishments came in ahead of The Exclusive Newz Bar in Liverpool, UK, which took second place, while Club 11 in Amsterdam came in third.

Not only is Barasti the world’s number one bar, it is also the busiest in Dubai. Beverage supplier Sirocco recently announced that the bar has broken all records for on trade business, which means that Barasti serves more beverages than any other venue in the city.
