News Media reports that the first driverless metro train has been successfully tested in the sector between Jebel Ali Industrial Area Station and the Jebel Ali Free Zone Station at the end of the Red Line on Sheikh Zayed Road. The technical tests are taking place without passengers and have been ongoing for the last couple of weeks. They are expected to last another 3 months, as the network completion gains momentum.
