Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina was declared the winner at the Interhotel Volleyball and the Interhotel Football championships this summer! The tournaments, organized by Gulf International Promotions GIP at the sport zone of Dulsco Complex in Al Quoz (during The Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS)) were attended by thousands of people of various nationalities and ages. Companies, Hotels, and the general public alike participated on a daily basis to cheer on the contestants. Games included Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, and Table tennis, Hockey, Cricket etc.

The Le Meridien Mina Seyahi participated in football and volleyball and competed against 25 other hotels in Dubai. Both teams reached the final and won the competitions against Le Royal Meridien for Football and Jebel Ali for volleyball. Both Mina Teams have received trophies, medals and certificates from the General Manager and Director of Human resources of Duslco Dubai.

The Mina Football players included: Houssine(HR), Karim(Recreation), Omar(F&B), Musaad(FO) , Azeddine(FB) , Roger(Security), Brendan(F&B) , Zakaria(FO). Mina Volleyball players included: Dilan, Amila, Rohana, Nalin, Suresh, Indika, Onil, Don (all from the Recreation Department).
